Do you agree with Thoreau's idea in "Walking"?
that he who sits still in a house all the time may be the greatest vagrant of all? Most wholeheartedly, I think so, as well, which brings me to the second phase of this query: if you were to go a-sauntering, but the walking part was counter productive to your well-being, would you, if you only had these two means of mobilization you would (not could) chose from, prefer to do your sauntering via bicycle or kayak? Presumably, "saunter" comes from "a la Sainte Terre," which which means "to the Holy Land" or on second glance it may simply be from "Saint Terror." Uh oh! Does than mean that folks who saunter about, seemingly aimlessly, while at the same time towards the Holy Land, are actually terrorists? In that case what is it which makes them thus? Is it the fact they are walking about, following their own ideas, completely apart from the imposed thoughts of the ACLU? Are their unregulated thought processes violating the rules of correctness as laid down by the education system?
