Religiously speaking, has it been scientifically proven that farting is bad for Ur?

Ok, I just sent a Tweet to my imaginary boyfriend Aaron Rodgers that says "Please don't fart. It's not good for Ur" but now I'm thinking... wondering if that statement was right. I don't want him to think I'm stupid or anything. Sources? I need to have them ready in case he demands I prove my statement correct.
