Hijab problem plz help?

alrite so recently my parents want me to start wearing a hijab to college, the thing is i have never wore a hijab before like since like elementary school and now i cant wear a hijab nor do i want to i treid explainning this to my parents but they dont wanna listen at all and they are jsut telling me to wear it so i kinda gotta have to the problem is i really dont want to, like my parents they saw sevral of my firends wearing a sacrf so they decided i should wear one to but i explained to them i dont want to plus the people who wear a scarf they decide themselves there parents dont tell them but they dont wanna listen at all so i dont know what to do... coz hoenslty im not even that religious at all, like i barely ever pray i mean im kepping my afst during the month of ramadan but im not that religiuos so i dont want to , also liek i have very low confident and i think after i wear a hijab my self estemm will go low becuase im alreday just think that people wont want to become my firend becoz i wear a hijab (i knwo this is an absurd statemnt, coz my firend who wears a hijab has more firends than i could ever have, but for some reason i jus feel that after i wera a a hijab people will see me differenlty and they might not want to talk to me0 i think the main reason why my parents wnat me to wear it is well they say coz now im old and im goign to college so i should , but ithink its just becoz wearing a hijab is a symbol of puirty and all that stuff so really they want me to wear it so guys dont try approach me u know but i dont knwo what to do coz i dont wanna wear a hijab and i tried explaing them but they dont listen to anything i say, so i need advice , if u wear a hijab can u tell me ur experince (and also i think it so stupid coz it ha sbeen 4 weeks since college started and thise four weeks i never wore a hijab and liek they just want me to start wearing it in the middle) so plz help and eid mubarak in advance guys
