Does any one agree with the principle of empirical verifiability?

We can be reasonably sure that something is true, but we can't ever be entirely certain. You cannot prove with mathematical precision that your computer screen is sitting right in front of you right now. But maybe those standards are too high for proof. Maybe we move the goalpost a little further every day.
