Does not being able to prove God or something make it not exist?
Atheists are always demanding that believers come up with hard evidence that God exists, and what many of us know to be true is that there is no hard evidence. However, atheists have absolutely no way of proving their own world view, and, at best, science can only come up with incomplete answers to most of the great mysteries of our lives (i.e. Why do we exist?) Not being able to prove that something exists doesn't prove anything; either that thing exists or it doesn't. In my own life, I can't find anything more important, powerful, interesting or exciting than love, and I feel like I'm still a beginner in understanding this part of life. It does not seem to me that evolution would steer us in a direction that would have love be so powerful, and that points to the possibility/probability that our lives have meaning and purpose. If you believe we have free will...I do...then we get to decide about all kinds of matters, both big and small, about our lives. I have freely decided that God exists, and I'm glad. Best wishes to you!
