This April has been a very bad month. How can I change it? Details inside.?

My cousin Died this year, she was 17, her birthday was this month. My other cousin, 21, just died on the 8th due to a fatal car accident, she was hit by a 90 year old. My uncle was told last week he has one week to live, he was in a car accident a year and a half ago and has been suverely sick since. I light candles all the time, but earlier today, one caught on fire in out fireplace while i was home alone, and i had to extinguish it. My birthday is on the 24th, and now i don't want to celebrate it because this month of April has been full of bad luck. Is there anything that could have caused this? What should i do?
